Established in 2011, Kerala Cultural Forum Christchurch Incorporated (KCF) has been a cornerstone of the Malayali community in Christchurch, New Zealand. Founded by a group of passionate individuals, KCF was created to preserve and promote Kerala’s rich cultural heritage while fostering unity among Malayalis living in New Zealand.
Over the years, KCF has grown into a vibrant community organization, organizing cultural programs, traditional festivals (such as Onam and Vishu), social gatherings, charity initiatives, and sporting events. It has played a crucial role in connecting Malayalis with their roots while promoting multicultural integration within the wider New Zealand society.
With a new committee in place, KCF is now looking to expand its reach, introduce innovative initiatives, and strengthen its commitment to cultural enrichment and community service. Through strong partnerships and community support, KCF continues to serve as a unifying platform for Malayalis in Christchurch.
